After 3 years and injuries to over come it was #94 Ken Roczen who took the win at St. Louis with an incredible comeback race in the 450 Main Event. After 2 races, this lands him in the #2 spot overall. “We came up with a plan and it seems like the plan turned out really well for tonight, It was a long race. You see the timer go down; it’s three minutes to go, but it’s like five laps. I’ve messed it up plenty of times in the past, but I put my head down the entire race.”
Last weekend at the season opener at Anaheim 1, Roczen finished in 6th place and shared what it took to overcome that for a dominating victory at St. Louis.
“Last weekend, I was not comfortable at all. So I was just sticking behind everybody. I was a lot more comfortable throughout the heat race and main event. I knew if I had a clear track, I can’t get stuck behind him (Osborne, who grabbed the holeshot). I stuck up front and rode my own race.”
It was a exciting, competitive race to watch. Justin Barcia took 2nd and 3rd went to Jason Anderson. They all fought hard in this one but Ken Roczen rises to the #2 seed after this great win! Congratulation Ken and we can't wait to see what the rest of the season has to unfold.
